The Jingying Method
What is The Jingying Method?
The Jingying Method is Jingying Xu’s original approach to guided meditation, shaped by 19 years of sustained personal practice, research, professional training, teaching and refinement.
Every guided meditation and course is created for real people, real lives and real constraints.
Every guided meditation is personally narrated and recorded by Jingying in her own voice. No AI-generated narration is used.
The method brings together three inseparable dimensions:
Science
Evidence from neuroscience, psychology, contemplative practice and mind-body research informs the use of breath, attentional focus, pacing, rhythm, sensory awareness and reflection.
Rather than forcing concentration or prescribing one fixed technique, the practices support a gentler return of attention and a more flexible relationship with thoughts, emotions and internal experience.
Art
Guided meditation is treated as both an inner practice and a relational, sensory art form.
Language, imagery, storytelling, silence, rhythm, music and vocal resonance are used intentionally to create depth, emotional connection and an immersive listening experience.
Each meditation is carefully crafted rather than generic or mass-produced.
Consciousness
The Jingying Method goes beyond temporary relaxation.
Its deeper purpose is to support a shift from reactivity to conscious choice, from inner fragmentation to greater coherence, and from external striving to a more grounded relationship with oneself.
Science, art and consciousness are not separate layers. They are woven together into one unified experience.
What Makes The Jingying Method Different?
Evidence-Informed and Deeply Experiential
The guided meditations and courses draw upon scientific understanding while remaining rooted in lived, embodied meditation practice. The aim is not simply to explain meditation, but to help you experience a genuine shift in how you feel, think and respond.
Short Meditations That Work
Many practices are deliberately concise, focused and easy to integrate into a busy day.
The emphasis is on consistency over intensity—making meditation more accessible and sustainable for modern life.
Different Pathways for Different Minds
People reconnect with themselves in different ways.
The courses may work through breath, body sensation, imagery, sound, vibration, silence, contemplation or meaning. You are not expected to adapt to one prescribed method; you are invited to discover what genuinely works for you.
More Than Relaxation
Relaxation may be the beginning, but it is not the final destination.
The practices are designed to cultivate inner stability, emotional awareness, clarity and a stronger connection with yourself—qualities that shape how you respond to work, relationships and everyday life.
Designed for Integration
Meditation is most valuable when its benefits extend beyond the meditation itself.
The guided meditations and courses encourage you to bring greater awareness, steadiness and conscious choice into the way you live, respond, communicate and create.
Grounded in Lived Experience
The teaching is shaped not only by academic knowledge and professional training, but also by lived experience of academic pressure, motherhood, prolonged uncertainty and major life transitions. This brings authenticity, emotional depth and practical relevance to every course.
